Taking portraits/Uniforms from Madden12 for PS2 and putting then in 08?

Has anybody tried this? Had any success? I had what I thought was a smart idea for updating some player portraits since the PS2 version of 08 didn't use .BMP for images. But once I put a portrait from 12 into 08 using DFR most of the portraits were glitched out on the in game roster. Is it possible?
