It's super easy to convert .dat fieldart.
Convert to the proper sizes (512x512 or 1024x256)-just squash don't worry about anything else, dds

Extract the TMdl from fieldart.dat using DFR
Separate the MMAP from the TMdl
Replace the bitmap in the MMAP with your bitmap from step two using DEX
Replace the old MMAP in the TMdl with the new one
Reimport to fieldart.dat

There are tutorials for each one of these steps, I can help if you need instruction, can't really do any work.

If I were to try it, I would need instructions for steps 1, 2, and 4. 1, not so much the extracting part (I get that), but more so "how do I know what files I need to extract?" Which files relate to which teams, etc.? 2 and 4 because I've never done it before. I've used DEX on uniforms before so I doubt I'll need instructions for step 3. And step 5 is obvious.

I mean... you could just do instructions for the whole process if you have time haha. It would certainly help out the community as a whole.

I agree with mee. It is super easy. When I extracted the 1st fieldart and opened it using the DEX, my hands automatically know what to do. lols.
Already done 7 endzones. Will send it to you Revanfan once done.

With DEX 1.5 you can skip the separate the TMdl from the MMAP. Just load the TMdl in DEX 1.5

Endzones are the first files in Fieldart.dat. So add 1 to TEZ1 in the roster. If TEZ2 is not 0 then add 84 and that slot is the second endzone.

I have 323 in my head as the first midfield file but I can be wrong. I know the Jaguars are 334 from a file I found, so whatever the Jags are that means file 334.

If DEX 1.5 actually can read the MMAP within the TMdl that could save YEARS on editing these.. wow

what caused the Steelers.tpf by PPE..that caused the .tpf no longer works. I believe this needs to be reversed.

EDIT.........So I found the current Stadium.dat was updated. These files needed to go into the Stadium.dat
to make the Steelers.tpf to work
