How to make your online play less laggy

Hey guys, i've been playing madden 08 for 2 years now and it runs really smoothly however I've recently started online play and it is quite laggy, and I think it has something to do with my internet; is there any way to improve the lag?

the "lag" you talking about is probably your latency;


a couple years ago when I have a very poor connection via radio
I use this software (https://www.leatrix.com/leatrix-latency-fix)

they promise to make your latency better by flooding with a lot of TCP packets

This will not make magic, but improve a little bit;
