Postby MikeWest502 » Thu Dec 30, 2021 9:24 pm

Here's the list of the 22 HOF finalist: Who gets the gold jacket from the list? Players in bold are at the top of my list.

The 2022 modern-era player finalists with their positions, years and teams, as announced on NFL Network:

Jared Allen, DE – 2004-2007 Kansas City Chiefs, 2008-2013 Minnesota Vikings, 2014-2015 Chicago Bears, 2015 Carolina Panthers
Willie Anderson, OT -- 1996-2007 Cincinnati Bengals, 2008 Baltimore Ravens
Ronde Barber, DB – 1997-2012 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tony Boselli, T -- 1995-2001 Jacksonville Jaguars, 2002 Houston Texans (injured reserve)
LeRoy Butler, S -- 1990-2001 Green Bay Packers
Devin Hester, PR/KR/WR -- 2006-2013 Chicago Bears, 2014-2015 Atlanta Falcons, 2016 Baltimore Ravens, 2016 Seattle Seahawks
Torry Holt, WR -- 1999-2008 St. Louis Rams, 2009 Jacksonville Jaguars
Andre Johnson, WR -- 2003-2014 Houston Texans, 2015 Indianapolis Colts, 2016 Tennessee Titans
Sam Mills, LB -- 1986-1994 New Orleans Saints, 1995-97 Carolina Panthers

My selection is below:
-Tony Boselli, T -- 1995-2001 Jacksonville Jaguars, 2002 Houston Texans (injured reserve) The most dominant offensive lineman I have ever seen. Injuries make his time short in the NFL. There is a MNF game in 1998, Dolphins at Jaguars where he showed a total domination over Jayson Taylor. :o
-LeRoy Butler, S -- 1990-2001 Green Bay Packers
-Devin Hester, PR/KR/WR -- 2006-2013 Chicago Bears, 2014-2015 Atlanta Falcons, 2016 Baltimore Ravens, 2016 Seattle Seahawks. Best kick/punt returner same level as Deion Sanders I think.
-Andre Johnson, WR -- 2003-2014 Houston Texans, 2015 Indianapolis Colts, 2016 Tennessee Titans
-Sam Mills, LB -- 1986-1994 New Orleans Saints, 1995-97 Carolina Panthers
-Zach Thomas, LB -- 1996-2007 Miami Dolphins, 2008 Dallas Cowboys
-Reggie Wayne, WR -- 2001-2014 Indianapolis Colts

Butler is the only guy I'm passionate about. Still can't figure out how John Lynch line jumped him.

Glad to see Willie Anderson getting some love. As dominant a RT as I have ever seen. It will be interesting to see how many votes he gets.

Willis and Boselli absolutely deserve it, despite injury shortened careers.

Ware and Allen will get in sooner than later. Everyone around them on the sack list is in.

I wouldn't vote for anyone else on that list.
