Forgot to mention something else and I'm sure you guys figured it out already but for those that haven't.
Once you have ripped the 04 uniforms you can use DEX to export the 08 uniform parts and import them into the 04 uniform parts. You can then use MUER w/Alpha Support to export the 08 palettes and import them to the 04 palettes. Remember that the 04 uniform palettes has one less palette and if memory serves me right you skip the first 08 palette and start with the second palette and import it to the first palette of the 04 uniform. Doing it that way you will have all the palettes show correctly in game for example the kicking shoe.
One other thing; to create a new 04 uniform... create it in madden 08 to set the palettes and then import all the uniform parts + palettes into an 04 uniform. It will take a little work on your part but I think it will be worth seeing new uniforms in 04. Maybe one of the programmers in here can make an 08 to 04 uniform converter to speed up the process.

I'm modding 04 as best I can but am working on All-Time Teams and Hall of Famers. Thanks elguapo et al, for your continued help!

Nice to see you are doing something you enjoy. Let me know if you come across the cheerleader 3D models, I might just mod a Lingerie Bowl.

I want to make my own. Do you still have the TUNI at least?

I can't find them but I remember Leeman using every single uniform slots so his roster's TUNI should be a good reference.

I figured it out on my own. The uniform order is 81 slots off.
