[Edited original post]
Going to post updates regarding 2019 franchise file editing here.
This likely has nothing to do with online franchise/mut or anything other than than franchise file that gets saved to hard drive locally.
I have not tried any other features in the game other than some basic offline franchise features, so I am not sure what other options are available as far as game play.

operation sports might have guys that are editing rosters. they might have a list of fields. I think I downloaded a field definition list for like madden 17, Xb360. goto the 2nd link in my signature to find the field definitions download.
My Corner (my threads): Includes tips for graphics, settings, screen resolution, sliders. Great roster resources from multi-platforms (converting/porting). 4GB patch for 64-bit processors.

I know the roster structure (the typical db files madden has used for years). In Madden 19, franchise files are totally different.
Re: Franchise progress
Would you be willing to release the general editor so we could poke around with it and see if we can isolate what any of the values mean through trial and error?

No. There is no general editor.
I worked on a reader, yes, but there is no functionality to display/edit any information other than a few bytes I was able to find that matched values in the teamdb's coach table.
Re: Franchise progress
Hey stringray, did you use offzip to extract the franchise file?
I did that and was able to make some sense of the SeasonGame table, but I only found the scores. Unfortunately I can't reimport the .frt file back into the save file, were you able to get around that?

Sorry, I must have missed this post.
To import changes, you'd probably need something specific to Madden 19 to compress the file and then insert it back into the original franchise file.
[edit] - will try and throw something together so it is easier to unpack and pack the franchise file

Re: Franchise progress
I started putting together some basic editing for 19 franchise files. There are no definitions for how the file is formatted like what we had in the 04-08 database files, so will have to figure out how to best go about providing a way to define and edit the values in the records.
Probably will end up being something stored externally that can be edited and added to once people figure out what the values are.
ie.. Coach records, coachid = bytes 78,79
