Is there a mod that allows us to user-control another team in franchise mode once the franchise mode has started? For example, I start a franchise with the Cardinals, but in one off-season, I switch user-control to the Bears.

Yes and it's pretty simple


Download the Madden Editor 08 v2, open your .fra
Edit -> Franchise -> tab "Team Ownerships"

just check box the one you wanted
save

I would recommend using NZA 1.3 instead of 2.0, but either should work fine for this, yes.

I'm finding it incredibly challenging to apply the mods to Madden 08. I've downloaded each file and placed it where I believe it should be, but it still doesn't function. Please aid a computer-challenged elderly man if you have the time.
