You are going to have to experiment with it. You can extract the INJY table from a 2019 roster with Amp and look over what values currently exist for injuries.
The file I posted has info regarding the injuries.
INSC - field describes the Injury, you can guess from the description on how bad it is.
INJS - may relate to how bad it is, the lower the number the more severe
INJN - may relate to how bad it is, same as above
If you use an injury id (INJT) that looks bad, chances are the player is going to be on IR in the game if you use that id for the player in the roster.
I added an injury, when I did it I think I used 0 or 1 for a less severe injury and when I started a new franchise based on that roster, the player was listed as out for 2-3 weeks on the injury report.
