I'm back with another update - introducing the Season Simulator, now a companion to the matchup simulator. Simply hit the Sim Season button and:



A full season has been simulated within a few seconds! You can view how the season went by week by hitting the 'Show By Week' button:



Or view by team:



And finally, sim the playoffs:



The hardest part of this was determining the tiebreakers - let me tell you, that was a pain!

Anyways, you can give this all a try at https://supersimnfl.com! If you're looking to customize the experience, trying editing the Depth Chart and Coach Sliders under the 'Edit Sliders' menu and see what happens! Let me know what you think.

I'm getting close, here is an example of how you can switch between rosters:



The upload process is nearly ready, there's a few bugs I've got to iron out but then it'll be ready to go. I've uploaded the 2022 roster, but it needs to undergo some balancing first before the results are accurate enough for my taste.

Is there a way to show defensive players or just offensive players?

Could you explain this a bit more? Defensive individual stats aren't a thing in my simulator.

The uploading rosters feature is ready for testing! Here's how the process works:



Hit the Choose Roster option in the simulator's menu, and then choose Upload Roster.



Follow the instructions off the page and upload the three files from a franchise, roster, or superstar file (Madden 08-style). Once you start the upload, my app will verify that your files have valid columns and data and may complain about something like if the PLAY file has repeat Player IDs or invalid symbols in the PFNA/PLNA columns. To prevent SQL injection, I won't allow certain symbols like the backtick (`) and others, so please ensure your files do not have these. Also, ensure your depth charts have been updated or simming games will fail!

Once the uploading process is complete, you can return to the Choose Roster page and select your new submission. From there, I recommend updating the Coach Sliders and perhaps the Depth Chart, and then sim away!

For right now, I am requiring that you log into my app to be granted the privilege of uploading rosters. Please send me a PM and I will give you a UserID and Password that you can log in with. This process isn't perfect and needs refinement, so please let me know if you run into any bugs.
