Penalty Crash - not on Windows 10

Suddenly I'm getting the penalty crash. I'm not on Windows 10 and I use Calhoupe's script. So, anyone else see this? Any fix?

Have you installed any recent Windows updates?

Also, you really should upgrade to Windows 10, for security if anything. Unless you want to pay up the nose for Microsoft to give you security updates. If you have 7 or 8.1 you can still upgrade for free.

Yes, there have been some recent Windows updates installed. Getting Windows 10 is not in my control as I have the game loaded on my company laptop.

Oddly, the crash only comes in certain stadiums (like AT&T)

First I'd recommend reinstalling any mods you have installed in case something like that could be the cause. Other than that, if you're getting the problems with calhoupe's scripts, I don't know what you could do.

I remember getting a crash on penalties when I was messing around with the stadium files. I don't remember the exact problem but it has to do with the TMdl part of it. Make sure the TMdl is the exact same size as the original or you'll have the offsets calling the wrong data in the MMAP. Also it would be a good idea to keep the MMAP the same size as the originals to keep from the TMdl call the correct data in the MMAP.

I just had a crash after a penalty and I was on W10 version 1809. I would only think that it has the latest update since I just installed this less than a week ago. I believe it was going to be a face mask penalty, but I could be mistaken since I didn't get to see the call, only the flag going up in the air and then it crashed. I'll have to put this in Cal's thread as well.
