Madden 19 PC Rebuild - New York Jets Franchise

Postby madden07eurocat » Thu Nov 15, 2018 8:49 pm

Finally I decided to start a franchise in Madden 19 PC and we're going to start with the New York Jets. Under new coach Foggy Nelson and hopeful franchise QB Sam Darnold, the Jets are looking to turn this franchise around. They've been mediocre for way too many years and now is the time that all of that needs to change. Sit back and enjoy episode 1 of this series!

So he quit his job as a lawyer to coach the Jets? Daredevil will be pissed.

Matt is going to have to do without him? :)

Other than the fact that Quenton Nelson is in NY and not IND (Man, you can still beat the CPU at trading), this looks pretty good. Let's see how it goes.

Welcome back to the New York Jets Franchise Rebuild on Madden 19 PC. New York has, as of now, one of the worst teams in the NFL. With optimism in the air, first year head coach Foggy Nelson and 1st round QB Sam Darnold out of USC, they hope to turn this failing team into a Superbowl contender. To start out the preseason they’ll be facing the Atlanta Falcons in Metlife Stadium. Both teams would like to start out the preseason with a victory, but let’s be honest, it’s about getting a good look at what kind of talent that these rosters have to offer. Let’s see what they got this season shall we!

Sorry, the stats don't print out like in M08 PC so there is no Game Log! :(

Comments from the game: It woud have been good to see a bit more of Darnold, but not allowing him to get hurt is better. Solid showing by the defense by holding Schaub to just 9 completions (He didn't help himself, but pass defense is important). Also, Josh McCown with a big (Preseason) game.

About the game: I guess you are using custom sliders right?

The competition between Darnold and McCown is fierce to say the least. This is going to be a battle for who gets the nod on opening day.

Using a slider configuration by Matt10 on Operation Sports. I'm still tweaking it. Running is so tough that a lot of people are complaining about it. One thing that I have noticed is that when you throw a 50/50 ball deep , the defensive back always has the advantage. It's more like 90 or 95% the defense's advantage. If you want it to be realistic the stock sliders are not going to work. But that's true of M08 as well. You just have to keep tweaking!

Welcome back to the New York Jets Franchise Rebuild on Madden 19 PC. The Jets got out to a good start with a win last week over the Falcons. Now with veteran QB Alex Smith, acquired in the off-season, at the controls they hope they can take control of the NFC East. Can the Jets take a win out of Landover? Let's see if they can get another win!

McCown definitely looks better than Darnold at this point. Not even close.
