It is Week 17. After a loss at home, the Steelers travel to Baltimore to take on the 6-9 Ravens. With the loss, the Steelers would need a Patriots loss in order to get the top seed in the AFC. Considering the Patriots are facing the Bills, the hopes aren't so high. Every starter will be playing in this game, which includes William Gay, who is back at Slot Corner after a shoulder injury kept him on the sidelines for a few weeks. Note: Damn it my typos. The top seeds, as it becomes recurrent, are the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers. The interesting starts after the top 2 seeds. The Denver Broncos, after apparently solving their QB situation, got the 3rd Seed. They are followed by a Tennessee Titans team that embarked on a 3 game winning streak to knock the Indianapolis Colts out of the playoffs. Finally, the 5th and 6th seeds are occupied by 2 AFC West teams. The LA Chargers and the KC Chiefs, who had a Week 17 matchup to determine who would be the highest seeded team.

As expected, the Eagles managed to get the Divisional Title as well as the Home Field Advantage through the playoffs. The only team that could oppose them, the Cardinals, was 1 win short. The Minnesota Vikings managed to beat both the Packers and the Lions for the Divisional title. Up next are the 8-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite a strong start, they eventually fell to a .500 record. The other teams on their division had sub .500 records. The next teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Rams. The Rams won a tie breaker against the Lions to get the seed.

The next 2 games will definitely be interesting. I'll be facing either the Broncos (Their offense is pretty good), the Titans (Who gave us an L, our offense couldn't get anything going consistently) or the Chargers (Who are pretty damn good). Then I'll definitely have to face the Pats, who should have gone 16-0. And the Road to the Super Bowl goes through Foxborough this time around. The Steelers never win in Foxborough in the playoffs with TB12 at QB. Never. Then the Super Bowl. The Eagles got us an L, so they are pretty tough. The Cardinals are also pretty good, and I'd like me some Super Bowl XLIII rematch. Then you have what would happen if the 'Boys make it and the Steelers make it as well. All of those games will be interesting. I'm hoping to at least making it to the Conference Championship.

An initial shootout with no team under real control turned into a victory for the Chargers. The Titans offense couldn't keep drives going consistently in the 2nd quarter and Marcus Mariota could never get in sync. On the other hand, Phillip Rivers had an amazing game, throwing for over 400 yards, most of which went to veteran TE Antonio Gates, who showed up as an unexpected Deep Threat for suck a big guy. The Chargers will be traveling to Foxborough to take on the 15-1 Patriots. It will be a game similar to the 2007 AFC Championship, but will the result be different?

The Cowboys are headed to Tampa to take on the Bucs. The Cowboys had to deal with an injury to a critical player, QB Dak Prescott, who will not be able to play until the Divisional Round. He has been dealing with injuries all season long. This has not fazed Big D at all, as backup QB and 2017 UDFA Cooper Rush had managed to get the team in good shape and allow them to take a Wild Card spot. The Buccaneers have been interesting. They went 8-8, and won the division due to the lack of performance from other teams. Their passing game has been good, and Jameis Winston might be nominated to the Pro Bowl, but their running hasn't got them anywhere with any consistency. With all this, the Cowboys probably have the upper hand. Will the Bucs upset the Cowboys and proceed to the Divisional Round, or will the Cowboys get the win and move on?

The Denver Broncos are headed to Heinz Field to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Finally, the Dallas Cowboys are headed to the University of Phoenix Stadium to take on the Arizona Cardinals. This leaves 16 possibilities for the Super Bowl:

• The Chargers and the Rams reach the big game, and the battle for Los Angeles ensues. I wonder, whoever losses leaves LA?
• The Broncos face the Cowboys.
• Patriots face the Eagles, repeating the Real Life Super Bowl LII (Wait, Super Bowl LII was between Steelers and Seahawks, the heck are you talking about?)

• Patriots face the Rams. Again, but with Gostkowski this time around.
• Steelers vs. Cowboys. I'm all in for that. Either it will be Super Bowl XIII or Super Bowl XXX.
• Chargers meet the Cowboys.
• Broncos face the Rams.
• Patriots face the Cardinals, and Fitz gets a ring ... that, or Brady gets his 6th.
• Steelers vs. Eagles. And it will be awesome.
• Chargers vs. Cardinals. And I would want both to win.
• Broncos face the Eagles. See how that one goes.
• Patriots face the Cowboys. That would be hard to watch for Pittsburgh fans.
• Steelers face the Rams. This one would be interested.

To let you know, I'm rooting for the Chargers (I'll root for anyone on the other side of the Patriots. Even the Ravens ... uhhh ... actually, no. Not the Ravens. Or the Bengals, they can go and lose. I'd say the Browns.), the Rams (I am not rooting for Philly unless something hate more is on the other side), the Steelers (I mean, it's the name of the Journal) and the Cardinals (Won't root for Dallas either. Unless is ... hmm ... Baltimore on the other side or worse)

Collins got three sacks? Dang. Also, good on Cooper for keeping Dallas in the running while Dak is out.

Also... you don't know how much I'm hoping for a Cowboys/Steelers Super Bowl. It'll be like the 1970's all over again.
