Agreed 100%

I've seen a lot of people who really like Allen. Granted, I don't watch college football and know nothing about him... so I'm not qualified to respond for myself.

Josh Allen should play dodgeball... he burns his receiver in a screen pass... it's crazy

56% in completion passes, playing in the Mountain West Conference,
1-8 TD/INT ration against Power 5 teams.

The problems with Josh Allen are 2 things: 1) Poor Footwork and 2) Poor Accuracy. Most coaches think that poor footwork technically leads to poor accuracy and that's one of the reasons the Browns didn't take him. But it will hopefully improve slowly like it did for Carson Wentz

I would imagine they probably want Jackson to learn from Flacco for a while. How many years are left on Flacco's contract?

4 years. He's on the team through 2021, so it's going to be an awkward few years of having Joe Flacco teach the person that will lead to his firing.

I read that Flacco only has one year left with guaranteed money.

Nope, that's not the case. Looking at Flacco's contract on Spotrac, and the dead money is currently:

2018: $28.75M
2019: $16M
2020: $8M
2021: $0M

There's no way they can cut him this season, but it's possible they move on next year... though I'm sure they'd prefer to trade him instead of take a $16M cap hit.

I'll always remember when I was talking to one of Bortles' high school coaches and he was like "uh yeah....he was always better at baseball anyways"

I just hope he can keep improving, I am a big critic of the guy, but I am also a big fan. He seems like a good guy and I would love for him to prove me wrong.

The Draft chat is live now, if anyone wants to join. Additionally, we'll be doing it again for Day 3 starting at 12:00 noon Eastern. I don't know when I'll be there myself, but I'll hop in at some point.
