There is a "read me" file included with the downloads. This has instructions from rogerjinx on how to get these files installed.
Give it a try. If you still need more help, come back and post here. Try to be as specific as possible with the rouble you are having and we'll try to get you going.

If worse comes to worst, you can wait until the next Mod update. All of these files will come pre-installed.

Note:
If you are on a Mac, you might not be able to use the utility required to install these photos yourself. I'm not 100% percent on this, though.

I noticed you have Neal as a RE. He should be a DT. And also, Stephen Paea is both on IR and going to retire.

Now that I think about it, I should probably send you a Dallas update. Expect that later tonight.

Paea is in my IR list but brought here to give him an updated photo. Now that you mentioned he is going to retire, I will take him off the active ones.

INSTRUCTIONS
---------
Place a copy of the following files in this directory:

UIS_LIB_PLAYER_PORT.dat

Double-Click DBR4.exe and run the "PORTRAIT UPDATE.IMPORT" batch script.

Once finish copy the above dat files to the "MyDocuments\Madden NFL 08" folder.

Why would you do this?
Hopefully, not a big mistake, but you should not have done that.
Remove all of them. You may need to re-install Madden and all the Mods...probably not, though.

After you clean up the mess you've made:

#1) Extract the [Portrait Update] files to any convenient location - not your Madden Folder
#2) Go into My Documents/Madden > find UIS_LIB_PLAYER_PORT.dat
#3) Copy and paste it into the file Portrait Pack Folder > The folder with all of the files and DBR
#4) Run the DBR within this folder
#5) Once DBR is open, go to FILE > SELECT DAT BATCH SCRIPT
#6) There should only be one file available > PORTRAIT UPDATE.IMPORT.IMPORT > Select it.
#7) When DBR is done, close it.
#8) Find the UIS_LIB_PLAYER_PORT.dat file, within the Portrait Update Folder > This file has now been installed with the portraits, via DBR
#9) Copy and Paste UIS_LIB_PLAYER_PORT.dat back into My Documents/Madden 08 > Replace yes, if necessary
Run Madden

Remove all of those files from your Madden Folder first thing.
They probably won't do any harm, but they don't belong there. So, to be safe, trash them.
Be careful not to remove any of the required game files.

- Good luck -
