Garoppolo goes to the 49ers
2018 2nd round to the Pats
I think, maybe New England
Could gain a little more
But will be a early second round

More like part 5, counting how many years it’s been since Harbaugh went to the super bowl.

Hopefully Jimmy has a good career, he was a great backup QB for TB12...
Re: TRADE WITH 49ers
Suddenly, the guarantees of Kirk Cousins going to his beloved former OC from 4 years ago have dried up. Glad to see Jimmy go some place to start, but I can't help but worry he's going to Matt Flynn them.

Do you think it's reasonable to think Cousins might stay with the Redskins now if offered a massive deal? Or would he still hit free agency and sign with someone like the Broncos... or maybe even the Vikings?

I don't think NFL rules will allow Cousins to be tagged again.

I've read that they're allowed to tag him a third tie in a row but that will cost about $35M. I think that would be too much...

Re: TRADE WITH 49ers
There is no actual limit to the number of times we can franchise tag him, but like Danchat said, there's a point where it simply costs too much to tag him.
The rumors are that Kirk wanted to leave the team this past offseason. Those are generally the same rumors that said the 49ers would strike hard and fast this offseason to get him, so I'll take it with a grain of salt. Whether we sign him or not really depends on how we finish the season. Both Dallas and Philly's games did not make a good case for him, so we might finally decide he's not worth a massive contract. The 49ers being off the market could make him a bit more affordable though.
I have been curious whether Kirk could end up in Minnesota. You've got a decent team for him to work with, and a defense to prop him up. Question is, would your salary cap have the room to sign him?
