Re: Madden NCAA

Postby minotauri » Mon Oct 10, 2016 7:15 pm

Hi! I've been monitoring this for a bit and then someone posted in my Operation Sports NCAA Football PS2 thread about helping out or using the roster base for this mod (i think). I created a tool that converts PS3 or Xbox 360 NCAA Football rosters to a format that PS2, PSP and (maybe) og XBox can read for the NCAA Series. The tdb format is the same as Madden, however there are some differences in the table field ids between NCAA series and Madden series, however converting them over may not be too hard if there's an interest for it. I can help or give you access to the tools and spreadsheets I've created which translate what some of the IDs are for rosters. They're actually all on my operation sports threads (http://www.operationsports.com/forums/n ... -ncaa.html // http://www.operationsports.com/forums/n ... s-ps2.html) for the most part, or on my website (antdroid.net).
I also go by Antdroid on other forums and places.

I'm interested but I don't use any Playstation emulators so I would only be able to look at csv spreadsheets. If you're able to rip the playstation roster I can look at it and see where can we make it compatible for madden. I would be interested in taking a look at the UTEP miners team roster and we can go from there.

I don't use any playstation emulators either, but I slept at a Holiday Inn last night! 8-) Here's the Play table and translations spreadsheet.

I was able to convert the numbers to name using a LOOKUP formula. Then I used my ripper program to assign the table in the order I wanted. I will later do a video to show you a step by step but for now the last sheet has the names. Test it to see if it matches the names on the video game.

P.S.
I own that Holiday Inn 8-)

*EDIT. I wanted to put the players in teams but the the "TGID" field is missing?

Yea, no TGID. PGID is how you determine team. Each Team is 70 numbers.

See first tab in excel attached - actually it looks like it's already in the zip posted earlier by Littleware

I updated a DB Viewer spreadsheet tool i made fixing the ratings system. It auto generates the Team name and Team ID for you.

I updated the input roster to the latest NCAA 2016-17 roster release on 10.19.

After merging copies of the two 64 team roster's into one roster, none of the heisman nor add-on tpf cleats are showing up in game! I get the generic madden cleats for all teams.

I have a copy of NCAA Football 07 for PS2 that I can grab .dat files from. I'm going to experiment with this once I am back home.
