Black Shoes?

In Madden NFL 08, teams like the Eagles and the Bears wear black shoes. So do Historical Teams. I am working on a 2008 roster with Historical Teams that I will release possibly in a couple months. I try to change the 1971 Dallas Cowboys White shoes to black. but the utility Madden 06 Editor 2.9 makes some kind of "excuse" to not let that change the shoe color. So is there a utility/tool that will alow you to change a teams shoe color from white to black?

Why are you using a 06 editor to edit Madden 08? That's why right there!

You can change shoe color in NZA 1.3 for Madden 08.

The option to set black shoes went away after 2006. You might be able to set something in an editor but I doubt it actually does anything in-game.
Let me know if this actually works for Madden 2008 though...

I thought there was an option. I saw something shoe related in the equipment tab in the player editor. Let me check it out.

EDIT: You're right. I must have been thinking of something else. I guess you could use TexMod to change the shoes, but I don't see any other way.

In 08 texmod is the only way. You can do it by editing one of the dats but that is beyond my expertise

Madden 2005 was the last game that allowed you to change the shoe color. The only way in madden 08 is by changing the palette in a .dat editor. Also, thanks for reminding me I've been on this forum for over 12 years.
