How can I move a created team to a different roster?

Did you already change the STYP field? If so you'll have to change it back, so the game recognizes it as a custom team.

Team must have 1 head coach to export......

Check your saves folder in your My documents madden 08 folder for a potential team already being exported/saved there....then manually copy/paste it to desktop or rename it outside of madden (within windows).....next go back into madden and try exporting again.....I had this issue with a Vikings fran team I was exporting and fixed it by renaming outside of madden to VIkings1.dbt or something like that so that I could export another Vikings team if I wanted and not have it overwrite or error out....
