Fictional World College Football League

Postby grabursock55 » Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:48 pm

Not sure how I will be releasing this mod, but wanted to show you some screenshots of my fictional college league that is in the same universe as my fictional High School league (The VIAA mod). Keep in mind, I technicallystarted this whole project about 8 years ago.. I remember drawing the country map on 2 pieces of paper in my college library and scanning them together, so I know the quality of work and logos aren't great. I made the uniforms more recently, so they are of a higher quality. =)

Northern Isles State University Islanders (Mt. Christo, Northern Isles)

NISU is a basketball school. Football is always put on the back burner. The football field is actually inside the basketball arena! You wouldnt think it was the same place if you saw the attendance difference between the two sports! Surprisingly, in 2015, the team was in the national championship game with 3 players that played both football and basketball. NISU won the game on the legs of the QB (also starting point guard) as he ran for over 200 yards in the national championship game. The 2015 NISU team is widely regarded as a fluke, and they are back to their obscurity in football.

National Championships: 2015

Southeast A&M Eagles (Plains City, Bithia)

The Eagles are known as a bunch of farm boys who want to play a little football in their spare time. Their offense isn't flashy, neither is their defense for that matter... But they are notoriously hard hitters.

National Championships: NONE

Southern Agricultural CornHuskers (Linehartville, Bithia)

2004, a year many ACAA fans would say was a fluke, two schools that probably shouldnt have been in the national championship made it there. Southern Ag won in a well contested game, but it left a bad taste in many fans mouths as both teams in the championship had allegedly snuck in by playing weak schedules. Aside from that, Southern Ag is an agricultural school that never developed much of a football team. The stadium is small and surrounded by cornfields - Earning the stadium the nickname "The Cornhole"

National Championships: 2004

You know what? I forgot. I started making this mod about 6 years ago. I made writeups for all the teams/ schools on paper. I will go find those papers now and report back to you.

I updated the teams with info on them. Thanks for checking it out!
