Its interesting, I was looking at the Madden 07 shaderdat.dat (been playing 07 more lately, better gameplay imo), and the 07 one has more files including a shader for the grass. I wonder why they cut down the files on 08?

To elaborate more, it looks like they're wrapped in a film or something thats making them shiny/reflective. It at least needs to be toned down on the uniforms, because while the uniforms may have a slight sheen to them (not so much now with the Nike uniforms, basically matte materials) with this mod it gives them a shine and reflection which almost makes it look like its made of chrome.
FF mod uniforms?
If someone would like to send me just a uniform dat I can look at them. I've been modding on completely vanilla M08 so I wouldn't have any dat conflicts. Obviously there is a big difference between vanilla uniforms and the evolution of uniform mods that have been done over the years.
As far as the film/reflection, I could alter the reflection if I knew where the game code for it was. As is, all I have to work with are the shader cubemaps. If I mute the light level very much it renders a lot closer to a satin but it loses its shading almost completely. I'm still trying to find a balance, but the line between straight chrome looking and completely flat isn't very wide.
Actually I've never installed just uniforms. Is it just a dat or do I need to do more?
If you're only testing basic uniforms, you'll be fine by downloading the CORE FILES from the FF Mod and simply using the UNIFORMS.dat file from it. Nothing else needs to be installed for only home and away uniforms.
Cool. I'll load it Monday or Tuesday and use it to test. Thanks.

Would you mind sending me the 07 shaderdat? 08 is the only PC release of Madden I have.

Also I'd love for someone to track down stadium/crowd, and turf shadow shaders. I know they're separate from these. I ripped part of them with texmod and turned the stadium shadows solid orange. Posts with screens somewhere in the HD Texture thread. I assumed they'd be with the shaderdat. But no dice.

Thanks!
If they're not compressed I can use DFR and change the filename extensions manually. I can't decompress following the tutorials though. Madden won't crash for me just freezes.

Are you ALT+TAB and cycle through the window that should say to close Madden?

It's been a while but I remember there were different methods and one just closed Madden and went back to desktop and no instance of it was running in task manager, the other just froze the PC entirely and the only option was hard reset. On W10 with ShutUp10 active and pretty much everything checked.

Ok there is definitely a difference between default Madden and the FF uniforms.
Spoiler:
Also, I don't want to step on any toes so please don't get offended, but I'm curious if someone can point me to the .dds of the FF jerseys? If they're not compressed I can extract them (if they're .DDS, I still don't know how to view .MMAP files) I'd really like to compare them to the ones arden05 found
Spoiler:
I'll tweak all the shaders using the FF uniforms going forward. When I get to a v.1.0 release it will be for FF uniforms. I'll possibly also do a separate release called TSadS.dM Classic Uniforms v.1.0 that are based on the v.0.4 shaders for non-FF uniform.dat installs.
It's unfortunate that the Titans Away uniforms look like they do compared to the Seahawks Home uniforms. I'll see what I can do though.
Also, what's up with Seattle's Anchor logo?

Re: Shader MOD v.0.4 Update | Fully Playable | TSadS.dM
Ran out of time for today.
Maybe something tonight if MNF sucks (especially if Trubisky plays like Akili Smith). Anyone know what time the Start Wars trailer is at? Halftime?
FF uniform version of Shader 32 still needs work. Shader 31 is getting really, really close to finished though. And this is the best version of a default M08 face texture I've seen yet. Even with the visor. The shaders are really coming together at this point.
EDIT: This is with a random HD arm tpf I was testing a couple weeks back
