Very nice true!

How'd you find the file for the referee's clothing?

My Corner (my threads): Includes tips for graphics, settings, screen resolution, sliders. Great roster resources from multi-platforms (converting/porting). 4GB patch for 64-bit processors.

texmod. im modding tpf opposed to dat.

I know this may not help with your Prison Mod, but just in case anyone is interested in the locations of the Officials' uniform files, they are in fact, located in PLADATA.dat.
Here is a cool old thread about updating Referees and the "Chain" officials.
http://www.footballidiot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=85&t=17186&hilit=better+referee
There are files available for download in DAT form and .tpf for TexMod.

If your doing TPF based modding to the rest of the uniforms, I wouldn't suggest modding through DAT just for the nameplate. You would have to go through the motions of getting them set to use DAT based uniforms instead of the create-a-team uniforms, then at that point you might as well mod the whole uniform as DAT based.

You should be able to just make a transparent image the dimensions of the nameplate, save it as a PNG, and use that in Texmod. I'm not in a position right now to do it, but I'll see if I can make one and send it to you.

Try this file and link it to the nameplate in your TPF file

ill try it out. the main issue i had was when i rendered the nameplate ingame (through create a player) it was only part of a letter, on top of the jersey color. i deleted that making it transparent, but it didnt work. all other names would still show up in game.

but ya ill try to get back to you asap to see if this one works.
