Absolutely 100% correct, mee.
In fact, if you drop the play card, you can place your QB Wristband image into Single Wrist slot and actually have a black, a white, and a team color QB Wrist.
The drawback, however, is you instantly sacrifice the bk/wt/tc wristbands. You can gain back either a black or white, by placing it in the vacant QB Wrist selection, but you lose the other two.

But, then there's your "No-Bump Elbow" slots. The BK/TC Elbow Pad (B17-P1 in DEX) has a wrist texture, so perhaps something could be done with that.
The WT/TC Elbow, B17-P2, does not have a wrist texture, though. Even when replaced by a solid color palette, this colors from the shoulder to just below the elbow.
The problem I had, if I remember correctly, is that all 4 of the elbow pad slots had to be exactly same, or none of them would show up in-game.

But then you, mee, actually figured out that we could morph one of them into a Team Color Full Sleeve, by altering the Palette of either B17-P1, or B17-P2(DEX) in each individual uniform.

Well... I got closer. The single and double wrist slots are both tall now. The result is there are now white, black, team color #1 single-arm full sleeves. There are white, black, team color #2 single-arm 3/4-sleeves. A white undershirt that I have to map to fix the forearm on. A black undershirt. QB wrist. Elbow wristbands can be used for the Rubber pad.

I either have to try to map the Tape/Wrist slot perfectly to get the separation between upper arm and forearm correct, or I need to add a wrist band there with terry cloth texture similar to my QB Wristband.

Idk. Feedback? Constructive criticism is welcome.


Also I may have solved my palette issues. I used the palette 2 colormap for palette 1, then flipped two colors in that colormap to get a workable palette 3. Set color box #1 as #000001 instead of #000000, then set box #128 (?) to #000000 and set that as Alpha #00 so it would quit flipping the transparency around to different boxes and messing things up.

Ok working on an undershirt sleeve issue but it's pretty close to done and follows Q's setup so it should work with the roster. I changed the pad texture to a full sleeve though.

There are nice seams on the undershirts too.

Had to scrap the terry cloth textile for the QB Wrist though. But there are undershirts, raglan-style 3/4 sleeves, full single-arm sleeves, the mid-sleeve, plus a rubber pad-like replacement, a white rubber pad-like replacement, short thin wristbands, plus my gradient two-arm sleeves and gradient two-arm half sleeves.

Still need to swap gloves which means palette conversions. No eta on that yet.

I'm working on mapping a straight line to use for the turf tape/rubber pad bands and undershirt sleeves. I want the elbow band that I have now to come halfway up the bicep and I want the reverse of that line for the undershirts. I think all the way to the elbow is too low for short sleeves. But the stretching due to the elbow warping and bicep warping is just nuts.

EA's developers must have really hated us; that's the only explanation that makes sense in regards to all the asinine ways a game released in 2007 was so poorly built. /rant
