You need to run Madden through Calhoupe's Madden Scripts (found here: http://www.footballidiot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=16466) and that will stop the game from crashing when penalty flags are thrown.

If you ever have problems with Madden 08 again, please refer to the Troubleshooting Checklist (Found here: http://www.footballidiot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=15) before asking for help.

Anyone else have the error when they install the new Mod files they get a "fatal error" where the launcher can't find the game CD?

are you using an Amazon Download or the Madden 08 DVD?

I just got as far as the probowl and switched the stadium that it is played in in the DB editor TEAM table to 101 for Camping World Stadium. However, I get a black field. The ST35 value is at 0, I only assume that the field hasn't been altered in a full field design. What am I overlooking?

The TEAM and STAD tables should be properly set up already. When I did the Pro Bowl in my own franchise, it worked correctly. Changing the SGID in the TEAM table, along with the Pro Bowl team's city, should be enough. There shouldn't be a black field.

Did you make sure all the files were installed correctly? Download all five required packages. Then install all the individual files. The PROGRAM FILES package is one where it is very important to read the instructions carefully. For the other four packages, just put the files into Documents\Madden NFL 08.
