Wanted to give another quick update for those interested in the LH mod.....really close to finishing it up, fellas. Just trying to work out a few details, and minor fixes that needed to addressed, and take care of right now versus having put out another update immediately after initial release.
Would like to ask a question as to how all of you like your game play (in franchise mode) in regards to the roster salary cap & cap space for the teams.....
When doing the player contracts, I released every player, of every team, one at a time to free agency and then resigned them (the game resigned their contracts automatically) to a contract based on their rating in the game....trying to give it a more realistic feel for Franchise game play.
....With the default cap set at $109 million, most, if not all the stronger overall rated teams (upper 80's -low 90's rated) were very close or right at the cap limit of $109 million, with my having to alter a few player contracts to fit the highest rated teams under the cap.....while the lower rated teams (79-82) had tons of cap space, from $20-$40+ million, in Franchise mode....therefore meaning that in Franchise play, with injuries, signing draft picks, etc., stronger teams will not be able to keep all their star players, while the lower rated teams benefit...
So, do you like Franchise play realistic, tough decision making type play, where an injury might cause you to release or trade one of your star players.....or do you like playing with a little slack in cap space, making for easier game play?.....
Just trying to decide what amount to set the roster cap limit at...
