So, I figured out some additional things.
1) MLBs are way, way too low on the draft board, usually starting as 4th-5th round picks.
2) I took the stats I used for the Generator from Madden 20 itself, then adjusted it to fit M08. Most of the adjustments came from changing the OVR so that it was more inline with what 08 generates (40 to 60 AWR). I was thinking about allowing the generator to use the true AWR, which would make some players come with higher OVRs. The highest possible AWR in M20 rookie classes is, depending on position, 74 to 78. The highest for my generator is 68. On the other hand, the lowest possible AWR in M20 is apparently 45. On my generator is 35. Something I was considering was widening the AWR range to cover M20's highest and M08's lowest (somewhere along the 30's).
3) Along these lines, some of my generated players are less skilled than Madden's generated players, mostly linemen. Even some of the highest rated linemen might not get upper 80s in blocking (Mostly power OL. I artificially made it so that Power OL would get high Strength but less skill while Agile OL would get high skill but less Strength). I also considered adjusting this.
