How to safely edit Draft Classes?

So I was editing one of the 2018 draft classes that someone posted on here, using MRE, and I've been getting this error a lot whenever I save the MDC and then back out of MRE. I go back in and try to open the MDC and I get this error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application...............Index was outside the bounds of the array.

I tried using NZA's editor to edit the class but when I import it I get:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application...............Coversion from string "" to type 'Double' is not valid

How should I go about editing this 2018 draft class?

You can only open it in NZA if you're in the Player Retirement stage of the off-season.

It's safe to edit during the Retirement Stage on the MaddenAMP editor as well. The draft classes crash all the time on me when I'm working on the NZA editor, so once you've imported a class in, I recommend you edit it with the MaddenAMP editor.
