Editing draft classes

Postby vfl410 » Thu Mar 12, 2015 11:33 am

Hey everyone, sorry to be a bother, but I'm having a frustrating problem I keep running into. If I try to edit a draft classes I downloaded here, I get error messages. For example, if I try to take Braxton Miller, change his name, college, height, etc. to get him to be Garrett Grayson in Xanthanol's editor, I get an error that reads "Input string was not in correct format". Specifically, changing any players college to a college that is alphabetically far away, such as Wyoming-Alabama, I get an "Index array is out of range." I'm quite confused and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here is the full error message:

Microsoft .NET Framework
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application if you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Input string was not in a correct format.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I would edit the class in franchise mode with the 1.3 editor.......just import the draft class to a franchise at the player retirement atage in the offseason and then make your edits then export it

I typically make my edits under rookies instead of the draft class tab

You gotta open up a class that you haven't edited (the error mensage will apear anyway click on continue) then you open the one you have edited then click on "export" save it with a new name. This new save will open without errors.
