My dad does, too. I heard the extended cut isn't rated, right?

Nope. Though I have to ask, why do movie ratings matter to you to the degree that it seems? I find they're usually rather arbitrary.

They don't really matter, I just like to know.

My top 5:

1. Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (I would have picked Return of the King, but Revan already got that and Two Towers was the one I used to always replay every week on VHS. Short and sweet.)

2. The Adventures of Robin Hood (Errol Flynn version. Absolute childhood favorite.)

3. Gladiator

4. Lawrence of Arabia

5. Field of Dreams

1. The Godfather (runaway winner for me.. '89 9ers type beatdown)
2. Shawshank (Get busy living.. or get busy dyin'!)
3. Casablanca
4. LA Confidential
5. Star Wars tie; A New Hope & Empire

.. Gladiator and Return of the King fell off the list for me. Oversaturation, I suppose. Absolute all-timers though. Easily as good as 3-5 for my $$.

Tolkien kicks Peter Jacksons a$$ as far as LOTR goes. Too many changes. Terrible portrayal of Aragorn and Faramir (Yeah.. I'm one of those guys)

... Jackson couldn't have done better with Gollum though. That was a feat for the ages.

The best paper salesmen of all time, Jim Freaking Halpert, get's a spot.

I haven't seen that movie, but I've heard it's really good.

I haven't seen that movie, but I've heard it's really good.

Except on this, Jim divorces Pam and marries Rita Vrataski.

Yeah, it's pretty good.
