I started learning modding when I was a freshman in college. College seems VERY overwhelming at first - all the teachers try to scare you talking about all the stuff you have to do. But in reality, its not hard at all if you apply yourself (I had like a 2.7 GPA in high school and got a 3.75 in college) you will still find time to mod if you want to.
For example, I work full time as a teacher, volunteer coach, am taking a masters course and balance a social life all while finding time to mod.
Maybe a better way to look at it is that you are retiring from full time modding and joining the part time modders.
