07 vs 08 preference

why do so many favor 08 over 07? other than rosters and tony bruno show, i see no major difference in gameplay so why do you favor 08 or 07 and reason why??

Mods. Pretty much the only reason why. And the fact that I never actually owned 07. 08, being the latest release, has all the mods.

Pretty much exactly what RevanFan said. 08 is the is last issue and the Modifications.
If the Mods were available for all of the Madden's on this generation, I'd be playing and modding '05.

I can't complain, though. I enjoy modding for, as well as playing 08.

I've had so many issues with 2005, which sucks, because it was my first Madden game. I have fond memories of it.

You know, I've heard/read similar complaints about '05pc.
I only had it on console, the old xbox. And I loved it. In fact, the 2004 NFL Season was awesome for video games. I had franchises going for Madden '05, while also rocking franchises in 2K5...it was great.

It really sucks that the pc version of '05 is so buggy.

'07 gameplay is cleaner, IMO. There are some aesthetic issues though (field lighting is rough if you've spent alot of time on '08)

'08 you have the Mods.

There are advantages either way.
