The International Madden League is, for the first time, offering new competitive game play that does not require players to be GMs in the league.
If you are looking for competitive Madden 08 gameplay but do not have time time to commit to being in a league, IML's new Ranked Play may be for you!
You must join the IML Discord server, where you must let us know that you're here for Ranked Play. We will give you the Ranked Play role for access to the Ranked Play channels - matchmaking and results.
We are using Rankade to calculate ELO and leaderboards. You must sign up for a free account to participate after you've joined the Discord server - you can find the code for the group on the server. Create an account for Rankade using the code!
Rules:
1) The Ranked Play leaderboards will last from the start of an IML online league season until the beginning of the draft at the end of the season. Leaderboards will reset once the draft starts.
2) You may play as many games as you want. However, you may only play the same opponent a maximum of 4 times during a Ranked Play season.
3) Either you or your opponent must submit the game log to the game results channel. One of you must also submit the results to the Rankade group.
4) If you are not a GM in IML, you can choose from the open IML teams for your Ranked Play team. You cannot change teams once you have picked a team for that Ranked Play season. IML GMs will automatically be entered with their own IML team.
Disclaimer: IML league members will receive league activity points for participating in Ranked Play matches. Only the first 2 games against the same opponent may qualify for activity points, and only the first 20 Ranked Play games are eligible to receive activity points.
