Just an FYI Evolve has shut down on 6.1.17 so we can no longer use it to play online. Quite unfortunate news to be honest. I don't really check on here that often so if you want to contact me then use one of the links below.

I'll look into some alternatives. I'm not sure that program has LAN support. If it does let me know. From what I've read it's a messenger application mainly used in Asia.

Since VPN was the essential component, shouldn't it be fairly trivial to get a simple OpenVPN instance up and running and then a web front-end to register.

I haven't messed with setting up a VPN in years, and that was a much older version of OpenVPN. I would think it not that difficult. I might look into it.
