Oh, they completely imploded. Apparently, Durant was not on the same page as his coach and threw him under the bus. It didn't get better with a new coach, though. Now they are benching Durant for the rest of the season and looking forward to next year!

Re: what happen to the rough riders?
To add some detail to what JPK was saying, the Riders were coached by a man named Ken Miller from 2007-10. During that span the Riders won the Grey Cup (our Super Bowl) once and made it back to the big game, twice more. He was nominated for coach of the year three times during that same span.
After last season, he decided to to step down from coaching because he is 70 years old and he took a less stressful role, being the team's VP of ops. They guy they hired to replace him was Greg Marshall who had been an assistant with various teams for the last 15 years so it wasn't like he was some totally unqualified candidate. But the team starts the year off 1-7, the team didn't look like they were playing for each other so they made the decision up top to eat the rest of his three year contract and basically pay out the remainder of Marshall's $500,000 deal. Then they moved Miller back in and the team looked like they were back on track for a while, winning three straight, but they've reverted back to their losing ways and so this is probably a lost year.

They just put him on the IR today so he's done for the year.
To further simplify it, its like when the Seahawks hired Jim Mora and halfway through the year people were calling for his head and asking for Mike Holmgren to be the head coach again.
