In this thread, we'll discuss news, share opinions and new video highlights as they become available. I understand not everyone is a Canadian Football League expert so questions are always welcome.
I'll try to edit this post every week with the updated standings.

Re: 2011 CFL All Purpose thread
With half the league on bye weeks last week, and all teams playing last week having bye weeks this week (say that 10 times), we present you the hits of the month to help fill the void.

Re: 2011 CFL All Purpose thread
Focus and determination were the themes for the top plays from week 9 as the first half of the 2011 season comes to a close.
Next week, we return to four games a week as we approach Labour Day Weekend. Traditionally, Montreal plays B.C. on the Friday before Labour Day, Winnipeg plays Saskatchewan on the Sunday (dubbed the "Banjo Bowl") and on Monday, it's Toronto vs. Hamilton and Calgary vs. Edmonton. However this year, because of the lack of home dates available for the Argos at the Rogers Centre, they will have to play on the Friday against B.C. while Montreal takes their spot on the Monday.
Just as things begin to hit another gear around Halloween, the games tend to become more intense as the importance of each game begins to rise beginning with Labour Day Weekend. As we like to say up here in Canada, "the real season starts on Labour Day."
