Who will win the NCAA Championship Game tonight? The team with the better defense?

The Ducks aren't being stopped. Can they stop OSU is more interesting but they should win anyway.

All I know is I'll only be watching the game to see the new Age of Ultron trailer. However, as I have very good friends from Oregon, I'll have to root for them.

The Ducks defense doesn't get enough credit. Yes, the Ducks will be missing key pieces on offense due to suspension, their defense is more than capable of keeping them in it.

The Buckeyes are an interesting team. They got the #4 seed on the final selection day by the committee, ahead of TCU or Baylor. As it turned out, FSU was the team that shouldn't have been in the playoff but if Ohio State does win, it will prove that having a playoff is better than not having one.

In the BCS an undefeated FSU would have been in not the one loss Ducks, so same if they win. In either case the BCS sucks.

Well , if you believe that the best coach will win and the coach with the biggest salary is the best then advantage Bucks (4mil vs 2mil)

Or , if you believe that defense wins championships and Bucks are ranked 17th and Ducks 77th then advantage Bucks.

But if the prettiest uniforms wins then advantage Ducks

Moreso for Ohio State because they're a #4 seed.

It should be mentioned that three of six computers had Oregon at #2 so it's not completely unanimous.

Well , I guess the west coast ,pretty uniforms, and Heisman Trophies don't mean much against the old fashioned Midwest , blue collar , defense dominating Buckeyes of Ohio State.

Ohio State 42
Oregon 20

lel wut. You realize that Urban Meyer runs a spread option offense, correct - the complete opposite of that "blue-collar" rhetoric that is non-existent in today's sport? If "smashmouth" football is what you're looking for, Ohio State played the complete opposite of it in the supposed national championship game - four turnovers before I turned the game off with four minutes to go.

If you think the Big Ten has even remotely been worthwhile recently, I'm going to laugh even harder. If you think the Big Ten has a semblance of being the "blue collar conference", then I doubt you and I watch the same sport - Wisconsin is the only team in the B1G that plays like most teams in the conference used to.

2014 Big Ten offenses:
Spoiler:
Illinois - 3WR spread
Indiana - 4WR Air Raid-derivative spread
Iowa - 2WR/3WR pro set
Maryland - 3WR multiple offense
Michigan - 3WR one-back offense
Michigan State - 3WR multiple offense
Minnesota - 2WR/3WR pro spread
Nebraska - 3WR pro spread
Northwestern - 4WR spread
Ohio State - 3WR spread option
Penn State - 3WR pro spread
Purdue - 3WR spread
Rutgers - 2WR/3WR pro set
Wisconsin - 2WR run-based pro set
