Fantastic Finale to the BCS era. Great game! Florida State won 34-31 over Auburn.
Man crazy year... At the beginning of the year I predicted Oregon and Alabama for the BCS championship game. Who would have thought Florida State and Auburn???
Just look at it... Auburn was just 3-9 last year and Florida State's star QB E.J. Manuel to the NFL draft and were down to a freshman QB named Jameis Winston, a Sophmore in Jacob Coker and a junior in Clint Trickett who decided later on to transfer to West Virginia. My point is this... Who would have ever predicted an Auburn team coming off a 3-9 season and a FSU team starting a freshman QB to be in the BCS national championship game.
But great year to end to the year and the BCS era (Pumped for the playoff next year). I was surprised in Michigan States season because of how much they struggled in the beginning of the season. Also just think, it could have been Michigan State vs Florida State in the national championship game if it wasn't for a few bad pass interference calls when MSU lost to Notre Dame.

No one will miss the BCS.
Not entirely satisfied with a four team playoff but it's still better than the BCS.

Yeah, it's definitely better then the BCS but it still needs to be expanded maybe up to 8 teams or so.

And the playoff teams need to be chosen in a somewhat logical manner. I'm not really up on how this is going to go next year, but I hope it is logical.

Why not this scenario:
Conf Champs of : PAC, Big 12, SEC, ACC, Big 10, THEN add the next 3 highest BCS poll ranking schools that aren't in those conferences I just named (At-Large)..

You're still not addressing the problem of how the BCS rankings are determined. Why should we trust the computers when when five of the six people who do computer rankings don't post their formula? Why should the coaches poll mean anything when the coaches don't have time to watch more than a handful of games?
Look at the final coaches poll this year (Link). Brett Bielma ranked Ohio State 12th because surely, that's based on him having an informed opinion and not based on his fued with Urban Meyer. UCF was ranked 10th by Charlie Strong and 24th by Mike Leach. Yeah, because living in Pullman, Leach got better access to UCF games than Strong. Mark Dantonio ranked Michigan State at 2 which is a clearly, unbiased vote.
The committee isn's without it's flaws but it puts people in a position of power who can be questioned and have nothing to gain from voting a particular way.
