Arsenal secure loan for Stephen El-Shaarway

Image

English Premiership football club Arsenal F.C. today announced they had loaned 19-year old midfielder Stephen El-Shaarway from A.C. Milan for the 2011-2012 season.

El-Sharwaay recently just signed for the Italian giants, but will most likely not see playing time behind the strong line-up. He will mostly see time coming on as a substitute, and playing in Cup games. He will be paid £20,000 a week. Despite the salary he wil receive at Arsenal, Milan wouldn't re-sell him after gaining him for just a week, Arsenal offered at least £10m for his services but Milan said no.

Arsenal are also looking for a forward to pair with Robert Van Persie. Giuseppe Rossi, Welliton and Bafetimbi Gomis are names that have come up as possible signings.

Arsenal travelled to Newcastle in hopes of starting the new season strong, but the Magpies had something else in mind. Going up 2-0 within the first ten minutes Newcastle looked on fire and never looked back, with a porus defensive performence by Arsenal, which included two sending offs, they could not stop Ba, who netted four goals against the Gunners, who were predicted to finish the season in the top 5, and it doesn't get better when they play Manchester United in the forthcoming weeks.

With two men being sent off, a thrasing against Newcastle and a benching to Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's chances looked slim, but managed to reverse the scorelines from last week and defeated Liverpool 5-2. Goals from Van Persie in the first 12 minutes of the game gave Arsenal a 2-0 lead, with El Shaarawy making his first start for the club he netted in his first goal with about 20 minutes into the game and Kaka found himseld on the scoreboard in the second half as Arsenal show a completley different team display to last weeks.

With both teams losing early on in the season against weaker teams, this game was going to be closely contested and it did, Manchester United managed to equalise it up before half-time, but they couldn't hold on for the win as Arsenal slotted one back in the 77th minute. Arsenal now lie in 10th position with Fulham top of the table.

Arsenal players found partying it up in London

Image

Just hours after Arsenal had flew back from Manchester to London, several players took their exotic supercars to the nearest club and partied away, despite the manager telling them to go home and get some rest. It is reported at least 6 players went from the first team, Outside of the club were parked a Bentley Continental GT, Ferrari 458 Italia, Mclaren MP4-12C and a Lamborghini Aventador.

Arsenal have had a rocky start to the season, opening the season losing badly to Newcastle, then rebounding against Liverpool and then settles for a safe draw against the league favourite Manchester United. Arsenal are also reportedly interested in French defenseman Mamadou Sakho who plays for Paris Saint-Germain.
