Dallas Vipers-BESL

First some BESL background:
The BESL is a hockey sim-league.
Players are forumers, as are GMs.
I was recently given an expansion team.
If you wish to join my team, here are the instuctions:
The sign up thread is here you need to create an account then follow the instructions there.
Sign with Dallas and list @mee or Johnny Shuffleboard as your referrer.
Then post in the get a free C thread.

I currently need a 2nd line winger, and an entire 5 man 3rd line.

Prior to my team there was 8 teams in the BESL.
The Boston Nobles folded, leaving 7.
The Vancouver Voodoo, Halifax Citdels and Dallas Vipers were added to get to 10.
Each team has 3 lines, 15 total skaters. And a goalie.
I'm gonna go through my entire team soon.

Other teams in the league:
EAST
Toronto Reds: BESL champions last season. I took their top scorer in the expansion draft, but they are a great team.
Brooklyn Royal: Fell to the Reds in the semi-finals. Still a great team, but their best player went to Chicago.
Quebec Voyagers: Always a good team, but lost 4 players to Halifax and their goalie to Denver.
Michigan Superiors: Fell to the Reds in the finals last season. (They were in the other division). This was my former team, I also nabbed their goalie and 2nd center.
Halifax Citdels: Expansion team. Maybe good, who knows
WEST
Denver Wildcats: Easily the best team in the west. Fell in the quarters to Chicago, but Chicago lost a bunch of players. They also nabbed Quebec's goalie, so they should be good.
Chicago Storm: Could play with Denver, but lack anything like what Denver has. A middle of the road team here.
St. Paul Bucksaws: The Detroit Lions of the BESL. Always decent but can't seem to find the playoffs.
Vancouver Voodoo: Expansion team. Expected to be the best of us 3.
Dallas Vipers: That's Us!

Godric Leskowsky-Walter Lawrence- Philipp Marquardt
Giles Leskowsky-Champ Buster-Danny Sergionov
Matt Ackerman-Jay Mambo Franzmeier-Bomber Nakayama

Aleksis Strapans-Johnny Shuffleboard
Peter Quill-Toulouse Lautrec
Matt DeGolva-Jurgis Butkis

Adam McArthur

That's my team. Here's some more info:
Godric Leskowsky: Captain. Good player. Taken from Boston. 22 points in 54 games on the worst team in the league. LW
Walter Lawrence: Retired. Will be an ok player for around 3 months. 9 points with Michigan. RW
Philipp Marquardt: Assisant Captain. Great player. 66 points in 54 games with the champion Reds. C
Champ Buster: You may know him as BUS36. C
Danny Sergionov plays center. Him or BUS will move up to the first line soon.

Johnny Shuffleboard: That's me. 101 points in 54 games last season. MVP.
Aleksis Strapans: Good player from Boston. Defensive.
Toulouse Lautrec: The player I stole from Denver and resigned long-term. :D

Adam McArthur: Got him from Michigan. Had a 0.896 save percentage, 6th in the league.

Also they realigned the conferences to better spread out team ability:
Borghese Conference:
- Brooklyn Admirals
- Dallas Vipers
- Halifax Citadels
- St. Paul Bucksaws
- Toronto Reds

Toronto and Brooklyn have the first 2 spot all but locked up. St. Paul has sucked for a while, and Halifax/Dallas are both expansion teams. One of the 3 will make the playoffs(3 from each conference, first team gets bye, best of 7)

McDonald Conference:
- Chicago Storm
- Denver Wildcats
- Michigan Superiors
- Quebec Voyageurs
- Vancouver Voodoo

Michigan and Quebec will likely rule this division. Denver will likely come in 3rd, but Chicago and Vancouver can compete.
Can't say I like the re-alignment because I'm stuck with Toronto and Brooklyn, but I have a VERY fair shot at the playoffs.

And for a fancy graphic not made by me:

I don't know about that..
We'll have an alternate next season, and it probably won't be red.
Will likely have that logo on the front though.

As I've fallen behind on this, here are the results of games 7-12
7.Vipers (3) vs Voodoo (1)
8.Vipers (4) vs Reds (8)
9.Vipers (2) vs Bucksaws (1) - OT
10.Admirals (3) vs Vipers (4)
11.Wildcats (1) vs Vipers (2)

2 home games, 3 away games.
Split the home games, went 2-1 on the road.

Fell behind Brooklyn for the lead in the Borghese by 2 points(an OT win), and lead Toronto for 2nd by 2 points. We have a 16 point lead on the 4th places Bucksaws. (Top 3 make playoffs)
