According to ESPN's QBR ratings, Sanchez was the fifth worst quarterback in the league. The only ones ahead of him are Bradford, Tebow, Painter, and Gabbert.

Okay, if Sanchez got a few more better weapons around him, he could be decent.
That rating is a little inaccurate because a lot of QBs who didn't get enough attempts aren't included. I'm sure there's more QBs worse than those 5.

Look at games when Sanchez is on. He can shred you. It isn't the weapons it's the play calling. The OC called horrible games last year. There was no running game, and the O line got eaten up in pass protection.

Give him time to throw and let him open it up and he plays well. Look at the playoffs. He plays well, why? Because they let him play.

I'm more than happy to see him go to New York in that case. Not because of his ability, but because the Jets for some reason decided to hire Tony Sparano for offensive co-ordinator. One of the reasons we were so glad to see him fired was because of his playcalling. The guy is as conservative as they come. When the Jets are leading, don't worry about defending the pass because all they'll do is run the football. Sparano would rather play not to lose than to win.
