Teddy Bridgewater
Do you think he's staying with the vikings? I don't really know. Looks like the Vikings are moving on with Bradford. Teddy had a pretty bad injury to his knee, I don't even know if he's gonna play again.

Bradford is supposed to only be the starter until Bridgewater returns, but I think it depends on how Bradford plays.

The way things are currently trending, Bridgewater is likely to miss the 2017 season but he'll try to play in 2018. Right now Bradford's the starter and Case Keenum and Taylor Heinicke will compete to be his backup.
Bradford's a free agent in 2018 and Bridgewater would need to have his 5th year option accepted to be under contract in 2018. It'll be interesting to see what happens, though right now from what I know being in many Vikings circles, Bradford is the more likely option. But that can change fast.

Re: Teddy Bridgewater
I heard about 10 times this weekend that Minnesota won't exercise his 5th year option.

They will likely decline it because if Bridgewater spends the whole 2017 season on the PUP/Reserve list, his contract will toll into 2018. Basically they will be able to pay him $2-3M in 2018 if he's hurt all year instead of the option costing around $8-11M and being completely guaranteed if an injury happens.

If they don't option the 5th year, he's gone.
Look at what the Bears paid for Glennon. As a starter with a 5-13 record, QBR of 55 and 58, two seasons with 83.x passer ratings, 59% and 57% completion percentage. Statistically he'll be no higher than #20 in any passing category. Limited-to-moderate experience. Very limited upside. $45 Million. $18.5 million in guarantees.
Teddy may never play again; still has more upside than Glennon. Not saying he'll get $45M, but he'll get offers that include massive performance bonuses.

Re: Teddy Bridgewater
Bradford actually...doesn't seem that bad.
There is obviously a lot of QB competition in Minnesota already.

I really like Sam Bradford. Even though he's from OU. He's a good guy, and he has a lot of talent.
I like Teddy Bridgewater too - he was fun to watch when he played at Louisville. But in my opinion, Sam Bradford is the better quarterback.

Vikings will likely place TB on PUP, if he does not get activated to the roster in 17-18 season, his final contract year 17-18 in effect becomes his 18-19 contract.
Where this gets messy is if TB feels like he can play/practice at some point during the 17-18 season but is instead kept on PUP/Reserve. Then there would be a dispute. However if he can't get back to practicing by mid-November this isn't an issue. But if his doctor (NFLPA stipulates players may see their own doctors) says he can practice before mid-November, and he isn't activated by the Vikings by mid-November, there will be a dispute. His 2017 salary is $1.35M (Cap $2.179M). If he is even remotely healthy by the start of the 2018 free agency period he would get at least 60-100% of the (per season) money that Glennon got (probably via incentives with a lot less guaranteed salary and over 1 or 2 seasons instead of 3).
I don't see a situation where this isn't a bigger news story by the time the regular season is underway. Even if he isn't 100%, TB (and his agent, family, friends, etc) will want him to be activated to the Vikings roster this season. There's about 20-30 million reasons over two years why he'd want to be.

On Teddy Bridgewater: This is his last contract year. If he started on PUP & never came off for ’17, his contract tolls. It adds a 2018 year
