The Carolina Panthers traded for mid to low tier QB Sam Darnold. The report stated the Panther's gave up a 6th, a 4th and a 2nd round draft picks for Darnold's service. Will Darnold be an improvement for the Panther's? Will he replace Teddy BridgWater as the starter?
Did the Panthers give up to much for Darnold who has shown very little QB quality attributes? Or can he be re-coached away from his bad habits, tendencies and poor decision making? Will the team surround him with enough talent to revive his sub-par career like stuff him behind a solid run game and use more play action to minimize his flaws?
Thoughts?

Re: Sam Darnold gets traded!
On one hand, Sam was playing QB with Adam Gase as coach. We know how that turned out for the suddenly good Tannehill.
On the other hand, even WITH the Gase factor, he hasn't shown a lot of flashes of being great. To me, he looks like his ceiling is just being an average QB. He can give the Panthers decent play if they give him enough talent, but he won't elevate them.
The Jets ... well, they are the Jets.
