Washington is never going back to the Redskins. No owner is going to change it back. The only reason it stayed as long as it did was for tradition. The tradition was broken in 2020, and the backlash from sponsors and NFL itself if the owner wanted to change it back would be too intense.

I'd love for the name to be changed to the Redwolves. But I don't think any owner is going to take this battered team and immediately order for a 4th name in 5 years. The Commies are likely here to stay, no matter who buys the team. The best I can really hope for is going back to our burgundy and gold uniforms instead of maroon and black.
