Finally. Should have taken Kellen Moore with him though.

I don't care if they keep Moore on the staff, just hire a quarterback coach who, you know, knows how quarterbacking works. Moore was one, sure, but he wasn't a good one.

Kellen Moore has the all-time record for wins by a starting QB in the NCAA (50).

Sure... but he wasn't a good NFL quarterback.

Moore was a decent enough NFL QB for as much of a chance as he had actually gotten. His teammates on the Lions and then the Cowboys always said that he had a lot of football smarts and that he would wind up coaching in the league someday. Who knew that it would have been sooner rather than later. Both Matt Stafford and Dak Prescott both said that having Kellen Moore as a backup was like having another QB Coach in the meeting room and on the sidelines during games.

There are a few sources out there (NFL.com, Sporting News) that are saying that Moore is the leading candidate to take over as OC for the Cowboys.

I don't feel good about it, but I'll give him a chance.

I was reading around and realized something: A fair amount of people (knowledgeable people too) think that the Cowboys making the playoffs this year, in the long run, will be bad for them. Because Jason Garrett is still head coach.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Always have a plan. And a backup plan. And backups to the backup.
And be able to improvise.

I think Garrett is a decent coach. Are there better ones? Certainly. Is he the worst? Not even close. We could be doing a lot worse in the head coaching department.

The big problem for us was at offensive coordinator, which has seen a change. And the reason we failed in the Rams game was our run defense falling apart. I don't know how you would correct that, seeing as our run defense was good all year until that point.
