ILB Vince Williams has had he contract restructured to save cap space (creating 2.9 million cap space), the Steelers are 7.2 under the cap but that does not include ILB/S Mark Barron's new 2yr $12million contract.
The Steelers will need $8.15 million for the draft picks.....

The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing to end the Morgan Burnett era after just one season.

The veteran safety will be released before April 1, according to an ESPN report.

Welp, that did not last. He did spend a lot of time injured and Edmunds did perform better by the end of the season so it makes sense.

Edmunds was to push Burnett anyways. He was being used as the dime LB and regular SS. But he kept getting hurt so Edmunds showed why he was a #1 pick. Edmunds and Davis make a good back end of the field. No with Haden and Nelson.all we need is another strong CB to be the #3 or till Haden retires.
