the NFL has strict rules prohibiting devices/communication on the sideline (or in locker rooms) during games because they are afraid that one team will gain a competitive advantage somehow. Personally I think this specific violation harmed the Browns rather than giving them a leg up on the competition, but their GM did violate the rules so he's going to loose some paychecks.

Well,.. so much for the "severe punishment" talk.

Look at it this way Browns fans, It's not like the Shield took away a draft pick..for next year...a 5th round to boot in a " PUMP UP THE VOLUME!" campaign for 2 straight years! :roll:
