Browns Hire Mike Pettine; Good Move?

The Browns hired Bills DC Mike Pettine to be their 15th head coach Thursday. I feel like Pettine handled the press conference very well, and I was happy when he said, "I don’t want to win press conferences. It’s going to come down to the fall and winning football games.”

I personally think we made a good hire. Pettine seems like a real football coach. He seemed happy to be a Head Coach, even if he wasn't the first choice. It sounded like he wants to be here. It seems like he came to win games, not talk to the media, which is good.

Overall, the Browns handled this situation in the worst possible way. It was a joke. The front office is a joke. We should have hired someone way earlier, which definitely would have helped with prep for the Senior Bowl. Oh, well. We're the Browns, and we aren't going to give up anytime soon. lol

I did like Chud, liked what he did the first half of the season. And we would be in a much better state if we didn't fire him. We haven't been in the national media for a good reason lately.
