Anquan Boldin: Baltimore Ravens deal about principles

Postby DarthViper3k » Sat Mar 09, 2013 9:56 pm

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... principles

So... in a economy (purely NFL economy) where player salaries are starting to skyrocket and the salary cap isn't... AND to top it off.... their QB, whom is no Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, or Peyton Manning, just signed a record breaking... and salary cap busting contract...

Because of the Flaco deal... the Raven's likely can't afford very many big contracts.
Well.. I guess Anquan Boldin is more interested in money than his legacy.. championships... community... avoid uprooting his family....

I'm actually happy that he's not keeping his word / not retiring. He still has a lot left in the tank. Would love to see what he has to offer for other teams and see how flacco performs without him.

No doubt.... they've been saying that Flacco has been riding a strong defense for years... after that huge contract I think he needs to be humbled some

I see that Flacco played the perfect poker hand .the Ravens had no other choice than to pay him.Only problem is that the main leader of the team is now gone. it will hurt losing also Birk and Bolden.
