The Seahawks will give the Vikings their 1st round pick. That is #25 overall, 2 picks after the Vikings select. They will also receive the Hawks' 7th rounder and a mid-round 2014 pick.
My analysis: This is a great move for both teams. The Seahawks become one of the best teams in the NFL with Harvin. I think they can beat the 49ers for the division next year. The Vikings have landed a rich sum ( ) and have the cap room for signing a WR and drafting a WR hopefully/almost definitely in the 1st round.
This leaves the Vikings with 2 WRs on the roster, Jarius Wright and Stephen Burton. Neither are capable of starting.
(and NO, Greg Childs isn't going to play this year. He suffered a massive injury and likely won't ever play again.)

The Seahawks apparently like former Vikings...
Tarvaris Jackson, Sidney Rice, and now Percy Harvin!

Anquan Boldin begs to differ.

Wow. And for a 6 round pick, even at Boldin's age, that's a great move by the 9ers.

Good trades by both teams.
Retired from the Fourm. I check back in once a month, sorry in advance for late replies.
