Lion's Pre-season Opener

Postby Littleware » Sat Aug 13, 2011 1:14 pm

As always the lion's squared off against Cincinnati at the pre-seasons opener. But this year's out come was totally different. The Lions put a new coat of wax on the rebuilding Bengals 34-3. Showing their renewed attitude for winning. The lion's didn't make the usual costly mistakes, didn't have the normal penalties or play with no energy! Nope, the Lion's were totally the opposite. They looked sharp and hungry to prove they've made changes.

Corey Williams got a sack on Bengal's QB and performed the "taking it to the next level" dance! Then, Suuuuhhhhhhhhh! got a penalty for spiking... Yeah, spiking Bengal's QB Andy Dalton into the turf early in the game to set a defensive tone. While the offense looked crisp to say the least, marching up and down the field on cincy's defense like they were the third team. The Lion's looked good!

The roar is restored RAAAARRRRRRARRARRAR!

I'm looking forward to more Lions' ass-whuppin's, but for now, we still have to pray that the Lions don't go 4-0 in the pre-season...
"Why do you go away? So that you can come back.
So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors.
And the people there see you differently, too."
