Wearing black has no effect on Super Bowl tendencies whatsoever. Wearing black did not make JaWalrus Russell a bust. Wearing black did not make Blaine Gabbert any more underwhelming than he already was. Wearing dark blue does not make Tom Brady any less brilliant a QB. The teams the coaches assemble are what decides a team's future, not the color of its uniform.
And if you really want to get picky about temperatures, I doubt teams are going to complain that their uniforms are too dark when they're playing in 20-40 degree weather throughout fall and winter. The Patriots never seem to mind too much, so if they threw away their chances of getting to the playoffs by using dark uniforms, I'd recommend most of the NFL should do the same.
